Karmic Unrest is a hardrock/punk/soul band from Seattle, Washington. The quartet is fronted by Ayesha “Musicbox” Brooks and backed by guitarist Tony Stevens, drummer Ian Caruso and Shane Smith on bass. Upon the release of it’s debut EP The Ambivalence Of The Sacred in 2017, Karmic Unrest performed at venues all across the Pacific Northwest. In October 2019, KU released its sophomore recording, Upright Or Upside Down. The six-song EP wields heavier riffs and darker themes as the band continued honing it’s sound. Though the Seattle music scene was dormant during the covid lockdown, the members of Karmic Unrest watched as civil discourse unfolded throughout the country fueling the next installment of their discography simply titled Static pt. 1…to be unveiled in 2023. They released the first single New Frontier from said recording in December of 2022 with many more to follow… |
